Dried Up: Favorite Floral Sources

May 21, 2020

These days, I don’t need another thing to take care of in this house. I’m sure you feel the same way, right? Between the amount of crafting, cleaning, cooking and playing… I just want to keep the rest as low maintenance as possible. And as much as I love a fresh bouquet of spring flowers (peonies are my absolute favorite) in the house, I just don’t have the time to head to the store to keep them around tall the time. That’s why I’ve been loving the look of pampas grass in a tall vase on my mantle or a dried bouquet on my nightstand. I’ve put together a list of some of my favorite sources. Make sure to check for coupons depending on the shop before checking out and if you place a bouquet in your house, please snap a picture and tag me so I can take a look.

Also, if you have the time (and if you do, seriously send me your time management tips) you can always dry your own flowers by hanging them upside down in a bunch using a rubber band and clothes pin for a few weeks.

Decor tip: If you are placing them in a clear vase or pot, fill the bottom of the vessel with small pebbles so the stems aren’t just willy nilly. <— that’s a design technical term. 🙂

What do you think of the dried grass/ floral trend? Are you into it as much as I am or does it remind you of potpourri in the 80’s?
